On a Personal Note
in 2002
When I launched my career in Switzerland, it ignited a passion for exploring diverse cultures. After working in Slovakia in 2004, I moved to Germany in 2005, where I celebrated the joys of motherhood with the arrival of two children while working part-time during my first maternity leave. During my second maternity leave in 2009, I took a leap of faith and pursued an MBA at INSEAD in France, which introduced me to new challenges and opportunities.
in 2010
I began my first professional experience in Strategic Consulting in France, facing yet another culture shock. After returning to Germany for a year, I made a bold transition to the United States in 2013. Initially, without a work permit, I channeled my energy into volunteering, consulting, and writing, determined to rebuild my career in education. This pivotal moment was my first taste of realizing the American Dream – embracing freedom and opportunity while reinventing myself.
from 2015 to 2022
I thrived as a senior leader in the U.S., leading teams and launching new ventures with a strong focus on international collaboration. At Coursera, I managed a team that supported 160 university partners, nearly half of which were global institutions, while building a diverse team of professionals from six different nationalities. Later, at INSEAD, I developed engagement with 4,000 alumni across the U.S., 50% of whom were internationally born, while coordinating closely with colleagues in France, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. Today, as a coach who’s worked with clients from over 20 different nationalities, I draw on this rich tapestry of global experience to empower others on their own paths to success and fulfillment. Each chapter of my journey has strengthened my commitment to fostering growth and collaboration in multicultural teams, and I am passionate about helping others realize their own ambitions and dreams.
